Orao 2007
After Zoran Bošković made a replica of the Galaksija computer, inspired by the knowledge that there are more people who like to do something like that, Zoran Tomiša and I decided we do the same with the Orao computer.
Thus was born the idea of a project we called Orao 2007, and after a few months of work we successfully completed it.
Project realization
Since we didn't have electronic schematic of Orao computer, the first step was her reconstruction.

Optimization did not bring anything, since Miroslav Kocijan (creator of the original Orao computer) did a great job. The only significant change is in the address decoder, which was realized using GAL16V8. Two EPROMs and RAMs were also replaced with one larger capacity each.
